Seeking Local CDL-A Company Drivers out of Wayne, MI!
Americas largest distributor of industrial, medical and specialty gases to the industrial and commercial markets is seeking additional local CDL-A Company Drivers to work out of its Wayne, MI area distribution center. Come be a part of a company on the move. With more than 16,000 employees working in more than 1,100 locations, this employer is dedicated to achieving and maintaining excellence in service to its customers and the professional development of its work force.
Overview
Responsible for delivery of compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hard goods to medical customers on mostly dedicated routes in a safe and professional manner. This is a customer service position. Drivers unload at each stop by hand and hand truck. Secure loads with straps. Drivers average 6-12 stops per shift. Shift begins around 6 a.m. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Average 45 hours per week. OT paid after 40 hours. Paid training.
Compensation
$18.23 per hour to start
OT after 40 hours each week
Requirements
CDL-A
2 years professional driving experience
23 years old minimum
H- HAZMAT endorsement or able to obtain
